Cross Tools C

The Cross Tools C demo version includes the ANSI-C cross compiler for your convenience. This gives you the ability to compile your own C files and to evaluate the code produced by the compiler.

Please follow the following steps to download and install the demo version:

1. Download c11demo.zip (1.91 MB).
2. Unzip all files from c11demo.zip to a temporary directory (e.g. C:\TEMP).
3. Under Windows, run INSTALL.EXE from your temporary directory and follow the instructions.
4. After installation don't forget to remove your temporary files (e.g. C:\TEMP).
5. Although the installer needs to run under Windows, all Cross Tools C programs can be executed under DOS.

Cross Tools C development environment consists of an ANSI-C compiler, assembler, linker / locator and library for the Motorola 68HC11. This environment was developed for the embedded programmer to support ROMable code generation. Cross Tools C optimizing compiler produces exceptionally compact and fast executing code for ROMable applications.
